Our Story

Established in 2015, Tomacado was created to offer an experience of beauty and love in the present amidst the fast pace of urban life. Every Tomacado store comprises a flower shop and a restaurant. In September 2025, we made the first appearance in Singapore at Paragon Shopping Centre, Orchard Road.

Ms. Karen Kong, the founder of Tomacado, used to work in the finance industry. She realized that it was not her own challenge to balance between career and family but also a common issue faced by all women in workplace.

The first Tomacado was born out of this realization, carving out an oasis in the bustling concrete jungle. Bloom as flowers, cook for love. Flower and food is a perfect match to create a sanctuary of freedom for body and mind.

The name “Tomacado” is a combination of “Tomato” and “Avocado”. When tomato meets avocado, their nutritive value has a fourfold impact compared to their individual nutrition, as the combination of health and deliciousness, create a perfect synergy. While its Chinese name is a combination of “flower” and “kitchen,” reflecting the unique fusion of floral art and dining.

The restaurant’s menu showcases creative Western-style dishes that borrow elements from Chinese, Southeast Asian, and Japanese cuisines, integrating floral elements in clever ways.

We believe that everyone deserves to have their own garden, so we have created a unique lifestyle that combines floral aesthetics with culinary arts, to heal your mind and body.

One Store, One Palette

Each Tomacado store is designed to reflect the local culture and ambiance of its specific location. A theme flower is carefully chosen as inspiration for the store’s spatial design. At Tomacado, you can fully embrace a unique lifestyle and discover a serene garden.

Tomacado makes the graceful debut in Singapore on 4 Sep 2025 at Paragon Shopping Centre. Carrying forward the philosophy of “Bloom as Flowers, Cook for Love” Tomacado’s first Singapore store intertwines three core elements: the elegance of Oriental aesthetics, the artistry of floral installations, and a health-forward culinary ethos. Together, they create a tranquil hideaway where the city’s busiest minds can pause and breathe.

Eight master artisans of China’s National Intangible Cultural Heritage have lovingly created eight handmade artworks that incorporate imagery of these two blooms, using the treasured heritage crafts. Each piece blends Tomacado’s modern romanticism with centuries-old artistry, stitching together the beauty of distant regions into a timeless ode to the East.

The store design thoughtfully incorporates peony motifs and the traditional latticed windows of Chinese gardens, forging a breathtaking spatial experience. Upon entering, baby pink tones and lilac peony art installations cascade throughout the entrance, flower shop, and dining area, accentuated by graceful curved lines that evoke a calm and romantic atmosphere. The overall palette is kept light and airy, enhanced by greenery arranged with meticulous care, conjuring the experience of dining deep within a peony garden.

Every season, Tomacado picks a theme flower of the season to create “One Season, One Flower” experience. This experience encompasses the realms of cuisine, flowers, and gifts, presenting a beautiful way of living. It covers the areas of dining, floral art, home living, and holistic well-being, offering a comprehensive approach to enrich life.

We made dinner reservation on a Friday night at 7pm. By then, the restaurant was almost packed.

We settled down and ordered our food. They have set for 2, 4 to share and also ala carte options. The food are good and uniquely created. Seems fusion of chinese touch with french cuisine when their escargots are made with mala.

Their cocktails are beautifully crafted and tasted nice too.

Staff were really helpful and very prompt in their services. They are always on the lookout if you needed a change of clean plates for next dish. Thumbs up for this service which not many restaurants will provide.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated with flowers and would make one feel like in a fairy-like garden.

If celebrating birthdays at the restaurant, the food will be served in special decorated trolley and presented to the birthday girl (I would feel a guy will feel super weird to celebrate his birthday there.)

Prices on a slightly high side but worth a visit.

Took my mini mes to Tomacado and honestly, it was such a lovely experience. The ambience is genuinely beautiful—you walk in and there are fresh flowers everywhere, thoughtful design details, and this calm, welcoming energy. My girls were completely mesmerized by how pretty everything is. It doesn’t feel forced or over-the-top; it’s just elegant and warm.

The food was delicious and creative. Every dish was thoughtfully plated, and you can tell there’s care in what they’re doing. Service was attentive without being intrusive—the staff made sure we felt looked after throughout.

What struck me most was the hospitality. Everyone here genuinely seems to care about making your experience special. If you’re thinking of celebrating something—birthday, anniversary, family milestone—this is absolutely the place to do it. But honestly? Even without a special occasion, it’s worth visiting just for the experience itself.

The most beautiful floral-themed restaurant I’ve ever come across in Orchard, Singapore.

I love how every dish is beautifully presented on a table decorated with flower petals. Everything is so pretty and thoughtfully arranged, making the dining experience even more special.

The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was absolutely stunning.

The interior is absolutely gorgeous — you can tell they put so much effort into the decoration. The whole place just has this amazing vibe that instantly gets you in a good mood. It mostly attracts women and ladies and honestly? They really know how to make us feel special. The creativity and marketing here is on point — they just get it.

The food was outstanding! We had the set menu which comes at a fixed price and every single dish was enjoyable. No complaints at all — just good food and good times. 🍽️✨

Highly recommend this place if you’re bringing your bestie for her birthday or treating your girlfriend to something special. It will definitely put a huge smile on her face. Will be coming back for sure! 💕
